Insurance Sales Agent

Empire Insurance Brokers is growing in Scottsdale, AZ, and we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. This is a sales-focused role working primarily with personal lines, with opportunities to grow into commercial lines. Ideal for someone with a strong background in insurance and sales who enjoys building client relationships and closing deals. Key Responsibilities: • Proactively sell personal and commercial lines insurance products to new and existing clients • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and pursue new business opportunities • Recommend coverage solutions based on client needs and risk exposures • Cross-sell and upsell to enhance client protection and maximize account value • Maintain strong carrier and client relationships to support policy renewals and retention • Provide accurate quotes, bind coverage, and ensure compliance with documentation standards • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall agency growth Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of experience in an insurance agency setting (Brokerage experience preferred but not required) • Proven track record in sales, with experience in insurance, financial services, or retail sales • Active Property & Casualty License (Required) • Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills • Personal and/or commercial lines insurance sales experience preferred but not required • Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and quoting platforms What We Offer: • Base salary of $50,000.00 • Uncapped commission • In-office, team-oriented environment • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Paid Time Off • Career development and advancement opportunities If you’re a goal-driven insurance professional with a passion for sales and client success, we want to meet you.
