State Farm Insurance Agent seeks a Insurance Sales Representative-Agent Team Member. We prefer candidates who now reside or are a short commute to our Chicago (north side). Note: Property & Casualty & Life & Health Insurance Licenses (must now possess or able to acquire asap). We offer: • Base comp , plus bonus incentive* • Paid time off • Profit Sharing Plan • M-F daytime (No weekend/evenings) • Training and professional development • Professional office work environment • Growth potential / opportunities for advancement • We offer an uncapped total comp based on many factors such as production, experience, licenses, certifications, education, and skillset Responsibilities: • Use an insurance customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate insurance customers about insurance and financial services options. • Understanding and offering recommended additional insurance coverages to existing and new insurance customers • Quote & Process insurance proposals for new insurance business all lines of insurance and financial products and find a way to close the insurance sale. • Answer calls from insurance customers promptly and provide a high level of service. • Review insurance accounts during all communication to maximize insurance discounts and address all gaps in insurance coverages • Confirms insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy in a timely fashion. • Performs timely follow-up and resolution related to potential insurance cancellations • Network in various ways to develop new prospects • Completes all items accurately and timely. Qualifications: • Property/Casualty Life/Health Insurance Licenses • Sales and/or Customer Service experience in the insurance industry helpful • Ability to market insurance products and insurance services based on customer needs • Ability to set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of insurance transactions and other responsibilities. • Proactive in problem solving • Strong Communication skills both with Customers and Coworkers • Ability to build a center of influence, network of contacts, to create referrals for prospective customers. • Experience with insurance office applications and agency software • Bilingual highly preferred This opportunity is with an independent State Farm Agent, not State Farm Companies.
