GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Annuity Lifecycle Internship gives the team member exposure to the complete product and customer lifecycle. The role gains experience and exposure to both the customer and product experience through work with Onboarding, Service, Marketing, Product Pricing and Sales to understand the responsibilities and key activities that drive success for these business units.

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business Management or a similar field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shadows across several departments to learn the essential duties, functions, and outcomes of those departments.
- Gains a basic-level of understanding around annuities and how they fit into the financial planning process.
- Familiarizes themselves with AEL product lineup and unique capabilities.
- Assists with onboarding and service with basic processing requests.
- Assists sales teams with illustration & pre-sale support requests, advisor list segmentation and creation/execution of marketing campaigns.
- Builds strong working relationships and partner with other critical teams including Marketing, National Accounts and Customer Excellence to achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Learns and utilizes various software tools to perform vital job functions. Salesforce CRM, Illustration Software, Customer Service Database. Etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
