Intake Call Associate I
REMOTE US - East Coast preferred.
Start date: 2/16 and End date: 8/15
MUST show proof of Home Internet Speed (Ethernet cable vs. WIFI).
*Hours and Mandatory Training schedule is approximately four to six weeks starting 2/17/2025 Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm ET, then schedule will be assigned: Expected shifts to be 8 hours per day, Phone hours are from 9am-7pm ET. Position requires schedule flexibility. Weekend and evening shifts may be required. Permanent schedule to be decided after training.
Position Summary:
The Intake I (IQA) Associate takes in-bound calls from members, providers, providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process. Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of all requests, and transfers all clinical questions and judgement calls to the nurse or pharmacist. The Intake I (IQA) Associate will also assist with other duties such as outbound calls, monitoring/responding to inquiries in mailboxes and other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Duties:
- Effectively manage work volume by handling inbound calls/fax/ePA requests utilizing appropriate courteous and professional behavior based upon established standards.
- Comply with departmental, company, state, and federal requirements when processing all information to ensure accuracy of information being provided to internal and external customers.
- Communication with other internal groups regarding determination status and results (nurses, pharmacists, medical staff).
Minimum Job Requirements:
-0-3 years of related work experience.
-1 year of Prior authorization experience / knowledge,
-1 year of data entry,
-1 year of customer service experience with good written and verbal skills,
good phone manner,

14.Ability to interpret a variety of work instructions provided through a variety of mediums 15.Ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues with urgency

17.Displays confidence in the ability to learn complex material
18.Demonstrates intellectual curiosity through inquiries to ensure deep understanding of the business and deliver accurate results
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associates degree in Business, Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $18.20 . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
