The Intake Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day direction and coordination of the Intake Team, both domestic and vendors, to perform the intake and preparation of all work. Ensure that the team achieves the highest levels of accuracy by implementing and enforcing quality standards and customer service standards. Participate in the initiative to automate workflows and transformation efforts. Leveraging and presenting data to complete daily responsibilities as well as projects as assigned. Acting as the first level of escalation to meet client requirements, problem solve, and address issues. Maintaining effective communications with Service, Sales, Composition and other internal teams. Coaching and developing direct reports, as well as self. Model the DFIN core values of purposeful agility, uncompromising integrity, collective genius, and bold action.
- Daily responsibilities will be to supervise the activities of 24/7 Intake Team/Service Operations team (domestic and offshore) to ensure completion of daily tasks, attainment of departmental goals, and cost targets.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to concisely communicate complex issues to stakeholders both internal and external.

- Facilitate change management within and outside of Intake to accomplish transformation goals and DFIN strategy.
- Must be able to work independently, make decisions in real time, resolve problems, and work under pressure to adjust operations to ensure business objectives are met.
- Annual travel within the US and possibly internationally.
- Establish a continuous improvement mindset across the team and with yourself, be open to change.
- Monitor Service Report (SR) and ‘internal audit’ responses to verify appropriate root cause analysis and corrective actions; identify and respond to trends in SRs.
- Partner with and supervise all aspects of vendor relationships to ensure successful performance as measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for quality, compliance to process, on time delivery and cost targets.
- Must be flexible to meet weekly with all staff across different shifts. Establish regular communication cadence with all staff including vendors.
- Understanding of Print and SEC Filing documents.
- 3+ years' experience in a supervisor or shift lead role
- A bachelor's or associate degree in a discipline related to functional work or 3 years of relevant experience directly related to the duties of the job or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience.
- Demonstrated history of delivering performance during periods of intense change
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated focus on developing individuals and teams.
- Experience managing the performance of offshore vendors.
- Strong functional computer skills.
- Experience in utilizing proprietary systems, Asana, SharePoint, Office 365 Apps, and Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to understand performance metrics in Power BI, Excel and/or other data visualization software
