Job Description

Aboute the Job:

LaunchDarkly is looking for an experienced, team-oriented and collaborative marketer to join the Lifecycle Marketing team. We’re a scrappy team that oversees email marketing, integrated campaign orchestration, webinars, and event promotions.

You’d be owning the multi-channel, cross-functional go-to-market campaign implementation process, from organization, planning, to execution, to measuring success. We describe this role something akin to “campaign operations”. Right now, we’re not creating geo- or vertical-specific campaigns, but we might be in the future, so we’re looking for that special marketer that has experience launching them!

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategize and execute a GTM campaign strategy for the Enterprise market segment, taking ownership of the campaign implementation process, including: planning, strategy, and execution

  • Use Product Marketing-led messaging frameworks, Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), personas, and develop GTM campaigns to activate them

  • Manage and coordinate the campaign implementation process using the SiriusDecisions/Forrester framework as a guide

  • Gain buy-in on and collaborate with stakeholders and other teams on goals and objectives

  • Collaborate with Senior Manager of Revenue Marketing Campaigns and other team members on mapping and aligning content with buyer journey and persona

  • Work closely with the Product Marketing team to understand and operationalize our campaign messaging, ensuring that messaging aligns with our target audience

  • Collaborate with other teams such as Brand, Digital, Lifecycle, Marketing Ops, Partner, & Events Teams to ensure collaboration and alignment on tactics and timing

  • Develop monthly or quarterly reports on campaign performance to share with the rest of the team and our leadership

  • Analyze the current campaign request process and make improvements

  • Document process, results and helpful information in Confluence and regularly communicate campaign efforts and updates

  • Align with the Marketing Operations to ensure proper tracking

Requirements:

  • 5+ yrs experience with integrated campaigns, specifically in Business-to-business (B2B) SaaS

  • Understanding of the developer persona and IT decision-makers

  • Ability to move very quickly and think on your feet.

  • Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation tool like Marketo, Litmus, Domo, Confluence, Slack, Asana

  • Curiosity! Always wanting to learn more and problem solve

  • A team player. Kind, empathetic, high EQ

  • Ability to look at data and make inferences and recommendations

  • Adept in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple projects across various people and teams, and deal with deadlines and due dates

  • Stellar communication skills, and more likely to over-communicate than under-communicate

  • Experience generating and nurturing leads across multiple channels

  • Knowledge of industry best practices for marketing automation and email marketing

  • Understanding of the lead lifecycle or funnel, and the desire to learn!

Because we’re part of the Revenue Marketing (Demand Generation) team, we’re tasked with sending qualified leads to sales, increasing the size and velocity of opportunities, and increasing overall revenue from marketing tactics. Our goals are focused on conversion from a lead to a sales-qualified lead (we call this TQL in LaunchDarkly lingo), and from lead to demo request!
