Your Impact
  • Provide backstopping support to Project Managers to ensure full compliance with contract requirements, USAID and WSP policies, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Ensure document controls compliance with ISO and WSP polices and project management manual.
  • Review/approve expense reports, purchase orders, vendor invoices, and invoices to clients.
  • Screen CVs to support identification of qualified candidates for project positions and help build staffing database.
  • Duties involve running exception reports and following up with the project managers and the procurement team.
  • Support the development of project budgets.
  • Support new business pursuits through conducting competitor analysis, conducting research on technical issues and drafting proposal inputs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited graduate school program in international relations, international development, business administration, or related field.
  • Technical understanding of at least one of WSP's core technical areas strongly preferred - public financial management, local governance, anti-corruption, financial sector development, digital economy, and youth skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral); proficiency in Spanish a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills, detail oriented and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work productively on a team but also able to work independently, taking initiative to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Ability to provide coordination support on multiple project assignments simultaneously and to meet deadlines.
