Department Overview
Motorola Solutions is looking for an experienced Integrated Marketing Manager to drive the strategy for the Pelco brand ‒ our camera-first portfolio that features a comprehensive suite of cameras and analytics, that is part of Motorola Solutions Video Security & Access Control portfolio. This senior role will report to the Director of Integrated Marketing.Working across the key functions of our marketing department this individual will create a full-scale brand strategy that will include how we position and go-to-market with our Pelco portfolio. They will be the steward of the Pelco brand, internally and externally, ensuring a consistent brand narrative for all marketing activities for Pelco.
Department Overview
The Global Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing all strategic marketing and product marketing programs across the globe to drive product awareness, demand generation and sales enablement. The team oversees all global product marketing strategy for the video, access control and analytics portfolio, develops messaging and go to market strategy for the VS&A business, creates and drives marketing programs and campaigns aimed to generate leads and build brand awareness among target audiences, including system integrators, end-users and consultants. Within VS&A we have two primary security brands that we support: Avigilon and Pelco. This role would serve as the Integrated Marketing Manager for Pelco.
Job Description
This position can be remote anywhere in the USA or Canada
Responsibilities
Define and develop a brand strategy for Pelco that outlines how to best position Pelco in the marketplace as a camera-first portfolio with best-in-class direct-to-cloud analytics, through brand campaigns, brand activations, brand narrative messaging and more.
Manage the overall brand architecture and messaging for Pelco, across all channels including campaigns, website, social media, events, email marketing and other marketing activities.
Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Digital Performance, Channel Enablement, Regional Marketing and Content teams from marketing, as well as key leaders in our Sales organization to ensure alignment of our brand across all marketing activities for Pelco.
Responsible for reporting up to leadership on key metrics and initiatives.
Work cross functionally across departments, as necessary, to ensure the brand is represented according to defined guidelines.
Desirable experience and skills:
A Bachelor's degree or postsecondary education in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent amount of relevant experience.
7-8 years progressive marketing experience with a focus on brand stewardship, brand messaging and brand evolution.
Excellent writing skills through storytelling, brand narrative messaging etc.
Experience using analytics and other data driven performance measures to track results.
Proven background and experience in planning and executing brand campaigns.
Excellent team collaborator with a desire to work cross functionally.
Self-starter with a track record of helping build amazing brands.
