The role reports to the Senior Project Lead Engineer - Advanced and is located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Research and Development Engineering Intern Engineer for Integrated motor drive motors. motors. Intern engineering would work directly with manufacturing and test engineers to support product development and testing of electric motors.

Your responsibilities

• Support development of EC titanium motor product for two manufacturing locations. The primary tool of use is ABB ECM tools and SAP
• Work with manufacturing and design to respond to customer needs through support of drive firmware updates and testing specification modifications
• Support new product development through development of test fixtures
• The recording of test and production information using Microsoft excel and word

Your background

• Be starting Junior year degree in Engineering
• Experience with ECM tools, or other drive programing tools is required
• Strong team skills are required, but must also be able to work independently
• Good communication skills to work with other on the engineering team
• Experience with Word, and Excel is a plus
