Responsibilities

Due to the continued growth of our Consulting practice, we are currently recruiting for an Integration Developer to join our Digital Solutions Healthcare team. Baker Tilly has been providing integration and interoperability services to healthcare providers and payers since 2006. Our Integration & Interoperability team is a multiple Best in KLAS and Black Book award winning team.

What you will do:

  • Be a trusted member of the engagement team and responsible for:
    • Demonstrating significant knowledge of integration and interoperability tools and methods which includes:
      • Understanding functionality and methodology that support successful engine implementations and upgrades, interface build, and data conversion.
      • Defining current and future processes and business requirements.
      • Designing, developing, testing, and implementing HL7 interfaces and related APIs using best in breed integration engines such as InterSystems, Rhapsody, Corepoint, Mirth, Cloverleaf, Mulesoft, TIBCO, Epic Bridges, Oracle OpenLink and Open Engine.
      • Providing support during testing, training, and implementation of interfaces, which would also include knowledge transfer to site resources.
      • Staying current with updates and improvements on applicable technology platforms and obtaining certifications as directed by supervisor.
    • Being self-motivated with the capability to learn new technology and processes quickly.
    • Having advanced communication skills, including good verbal and written skills.
    • Exhibiting time management prowess with ability to multi-task and complete projects within established timelines.
  • Learning and growing from direct on-the-job coaching and mentoring along with participation in firm wide learning and development programs.
  • Utilization of your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may be accepted.
  • Related industry and consulting experience highly preferred
  • Experience with InterSystems, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Corepoint, Mirth, MuleSoft, Epic Bridges, Oracle OpenLink and Open Engine, and/or TIBCO integration tools preferred.
  • Experience with HL7 interface build required.
  • Experience with FHIR API development preferred.
  • Background working in a fast-paced healthcare environment utilizing an EHR.
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and Microsoft Office Suite expertise (Word, Excel) required.
  • Project management skills and capability with related tools (i.e., MS Project, JIRA) are a plus.
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
