About the Job:
As a member of the Team, you’ll bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices to bear on implementing and enhancing robust and stable solutions. As an experienced integrations developer, you’ll bring your knowledge of APIs and legacy integrations in Microsoft, Open Systems, Azure, and AWS environments to solving integration problems with new and legacy systems. You’ll collaborate with insurance experts and architects to solve business problems using modern systems and technology. You’ll help in the digital transformation of our insurance clients and partners.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Perform hands-on integration development using the latest tools and technologies including Java, Microsoft, and AWS.
- Learn, use, and extend a catalog of commercial APIs supporting an insurance industry leading policy administration system. Learn the business processes and flows for insurance products and how they are enabled through interfaces and integration processing.
- Work closely with the team to understand needs around client stakeholder management
- Demonstrate a passion for learning and a willingness to adopt new technologies and understand legacy technologies.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement, along with a great attitude, solid communication skills, willingness to learn and collaborate
- Develop and maintain APIs in various environments using DevOps and client tools.
- Assist in the development of technical requirements for Agile development teams
- Develop updates, corrections, or enhancements including Business Logic
What You’ll Bring with You:
- 4+ years development experience focused on integration
- Experience with insurance system and processes (desired)
- Experience in Java, Azure, and AWS technology, tools, and environments
- Understanding in creating applications with RESTful API – JSON and Swagger
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Working knowledge of Git, Eclipse/IntelliJ
- Experience working in an agile environment
