Integration Development Engineer

NN Digital Hub Madrid is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain. We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group

We are looking for an experienced Integration Development Engineer to join our team and help us to design and develop of RESTful and API's to provide integration functionality for the diverse life and non-life insurance environment to enable rapid development.

You will have the opportunity to work with the different stakeholders to map and integrate disparate data and services from a variety of source systems using API microservices pattern.

What are the tasks that you’ll perform?

• Help to connect and integrate webservices across the enterprise.

• Be self-supportive in collaborating with your peers to effectively deliver robust solutions for the business

• Write tested, robust code that can be quickly moved into production.

• Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with the team to solve technical challenges using rapid and iterative development Support-what-you-build, including monitoring, performance tuning, and responding to incidents

• Experience with the following:

• SQL for database schema design

• Building RESTful JSON/SOAP web services and integrating multiple data sources

• Application security best practices and software and system architecture

• Developing RESTful APIs and API Gateway integration (WSO2 / Azure Functions, etc.)

• Cloud experience (AWS / Azure)

Who are we looking for?

• Degree in computer science

• +4 years of experience with full stack development, including application, API, testing, and automation experience.
