Integration Engineer

Based in Southern California with locations in Malibu, Calabasas and Camarillo; HRL has been on the leading edge of technology, conducting pioneering research and advancing the state of the art. 

The Infrared Test & Integration team located in Camarillo California is a highly talented team of scientists and engineers with diverse backgrounds in circuit design, advanced packaging and integration, novel signal processing and algorithm development, and integration & characterization of highly complex digital and mixed signal systems for Infrared Imaging applications. Participate as part of a project team in this environment performing activities that include device characterization in vacuum dewars, LN2 based cryogenics and electrical test of high-speed I/O, ADCs/DACs, FPGAs, power supplies, and other analog and digital circuits. Hands-on work with custom FPGA boards and electronics. Technical duties require candidate to handle highly sensitive devices into fixtures as well as operating vacuum pumps, heaters, LN2 cryogenics, and other standard electronic test equipment. 

•Proficient at operating power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and other electronic test equipment

•Proficient at operating of vacuum systems

•Computer/software skills (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

•PCB Component and Cable Soldering that includes J-STD-001 Certification

•AS9100 workflows

•Troubleshooting problems with electronics and replacing faulty materials

•Setting up and calibrating electronics systems by following schematics and diagrams

•Preparing work product documentation, such as bill of material, manufacturing processes, test processes, and user manuals.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or A.S. degree with 5+ years of assembly integration and test experience.

U.S. citizenship is required

The base salary range for this full-time position is $74,300 - $89,100 + bonus + benefits.
