General Purpose:
L1 HW/SW RF integration Engineer participating in the development and execution of L1 RF testing of 5G/LTE and mMIMO cellular base station transmitters and receivers.

Main Responsibility Area:

• L1 SW/HW RF integration testing
• Test planning including reviews/analysis of feature/unit requirement specifications, work effort estimations and investments
• Execution and reporting of testing progress including fault investigation/reporting and correction verification which includes cooperation with other teams
• Responsible for radio product bring up, HW&SW integration and test automation.
• Radio product performance optimization including verification of L1 timing delay measurements
• lab maintenance which includes evaluating test tools and test equipment needs
• Consults, supports and guides team members
• Provide technical support/training to other teams as needed

Position Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Software or equivalent education based on experience.
• Technical knowledge/experience of wireless technology (GSM, WCDMA, LTE or 5G) especially on the radio access network/base station
• Ability to understand and evaluate internal/external specifications
• Experience with test analysis, test planning and test case design
• Experience with testing and troubleshooting
• Experience with test equipment & tools: signal generators, spectrum analyzers, test mobile/simulators
• Self-driven, responsible and capable to work independently
• Team player with good communication (verbal and written) skills
• Fluent spoken and written English

Good to have:

• RF competence
• Python, C/ C++, Java or bash competence
• GIT competence
• Jenkins competence
• FPGA competence
• Linux competence

Personal Attributes:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Technical leadership potential is a plus
• Should be a good planner and organizer
• Adept Problem Solver
• Ability to travel internationally on short notice if needed (travel overall expected to be less than 10% of the time),
• 5+ years experince
