Let's talk about the team:
The Integration Engineer, Tier II is part of our Customer Service and Support Operation. As a Tier II Integration Engineer, you will oversee activities related to the escalation and prioritization of cases, work to identify any data issues in the DB (Oracle and SQL), create and modify data scripts, and document software defects. In addition to the resolving technical issues, you will work with cross-functional teams to handle communication to customers and internal stakeholders ensuring that customer needs are satisfied.

- Prioritize and drive to resolution escalated customer cases from the Customer Support team and implement corrective actions
- Clearly and consistently document customer inquiries and steps taken to resolve and address customer concerns
- Identify data elements from various database as requested by client.
- Working with Several Different Database Management Systems.
- Be very proficient with SQL Server and Oracle
- Strong SQL skills (SQL Server, Oracle).
- A strong desire to develop new and innovative ways to improve our data storage and processing.
- Prepare and perform data analysis and transformations to align data to business rules.
- Work with our clients and partners to obtain a greater understating of the business needs and goals.
- Be Subject Matter Expert for interoperability both internally and externally
- Contribute to knowledge management activities and promote best practices for project execution.
- Programming experience required in any object-oriented programming languages like C#, Java etc.
- Excellent SQL skills, with experience in building and interpreting complex queries.
- Ability to effectively communicate, at times in a non-technical language, with customers at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
- Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources
Let's talk about you:
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in a healthcare software environment
- Minimum 2 years of SQL experience, preferably in SQL Server/Oracle
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Must demonstrate an ability to learn complex business software and master best practice use of the software and the ability communicate issues effectively
- Must have excellent attention to detail and the understanding of how to investigate and trouble-shoot software issues and find viable solutions to those issues
- Knowledge of various healthcare applications (EHR, Care Management Platforms, etc.)
- Integration experience with Healthcare Information systems such as EHR applications/systems (e.g., Epic, Meditech, Cerner) with emphasis on clinical data integration
- Experience working with interface engines and clinical or healthcare workflows and/or hands-on experience working with HL7 v2 message types
- Knowledge of one or more of Web Services/REST, JSON, XML, and Service-Oriented Architecture
- Knowledge of various healthcare applications (EHR, Care Management Platforms, etc.)
- Integration experience with Healthcare Information systems such as EHR applications/systems (e.g., Epic, Meditech, Cerner) with emphasis on clinical data integration
- A strong sense of urgency, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- An ability to work independently and efficiently to complete tasks
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Applies functional knowledge and existing methodologies to solve complex problems or execute specialized projects.
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
