Integration Engineering Manager

Hurco Companies, Inc. is looking for a Manager of Integration Engineering based out of our Indianapolis, Indiana facility. As a Manager of Integration Engineers, you will lead the system integration team to work with Mechanical, Electrical, Control, and Software departments to coordinate new product development and support service and quality control. Under the direction of the Vice President of Engineering, your team will be responsible for (1) developing project deliverables within a project team; (2) providing technical support to the manufacturing, field service and application teams both on-site and at remote locations; (3) following and improving the engineering processes; (4) generating and maintaining engineering drawings and documents.

Position Duties:

• Supervise and train other system integration engineers
• Work with and coordinate with Engineering team on new product development
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, control and software to build a CNC system, setup and configure it for optimal performance
• Create and optimize engineering procedures and support manufacturing and service teams

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years related working experience
• Familiar with electrical/computer-controlled machinery, mechanical, electrical, control and software
• Understand the manufacturing process and the importance of field service
• Experience in working with engineering and service teams
• Ability to break down and convey complex technical issues to simpler manageable tasks and convey their significance to non-technical persons
• Strong problem-solving skills
