Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION

This Integration Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and management of the integration of acquired practices for insurance verification, billing, posting, and collections. Provide Front and Back-end leadership to develop, recommend, and administer company policies and procedures related to all revenue cycle functions. Establishes goals and priorities consistent with mission and goals of Pediatric Associates, as well as meets requirements for applicable federal, state, and local regulatory and/or accrediting bodies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assist Integration Director with onboarding acquisitions, system implementation, and management in designing, and applying an effective billing process for all RCM functions.
  2. Collaborate with onsite management and successful integration of acquired practices in responsible areas of transformation.
  3. Review existing processes, resources, and systems within acquisition targets.
  4. Assess the engagement, professional skills, and training needs of acquisition staff to identify the change impact on staff, process, & policy. Manage and give direction to support training staff when needed during implementation.
  5. Recognize functionality of other EHR systems to assess pre-integration operational models and coordinate with data analytics to provide reporting prior to eCW Implementation.
  6. Assess and ensure readiness for practice transition to eCW.
  7. Collaborate with other departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure companywide compliance.
  8. Monitor practice operational KPI's.
  9. Oversee team's productivity audits, track problematic trends, and compile statistical data on a monthly basis.
  10. Hold monthly staff meetings to maintain open communication with the staff and create a work environment to foster teamwork.
  11. Assist with special projects and reports to ensure maximum payments.
  12. Other duties as assigned, including cross training in other functional areas.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High school diploma required. Bachelors degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a primary care or multispecialty clinical setting, including at least 2 in a supervisory or management position with proven success of implementing change and support of corporate mission required.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
  • None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Accelerated knowledge and expertise in front office operations, managed care, and health care settings.
  • Current knowledge of best practices in practice management and operations.
  • Knowledge of billing and collection policies and procedures, all types of insurance (HMO, PPO, POS, Medicaid etc.).
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Working in professional office environment. Involves interaction with management and medical providers. May require sitting for long periods. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, type at 35 wpm, operate calculator, copier, and such other office equipment as necessary. The position involves high & frequent call volumes. Environment requires ability to multi-task, communicate clearly both written and verbally, and data entry for extended period of times. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Successfully manage Pediatric Associates' clinical practice integration and transformation efforts on site at new acquisition targets.
  • Experienced leadership and expertise in direct management of business operations.
  • Knowledge of and experience in developing workflow plans with subsequent training, implementation and performance analysis as it relates to corporate goals.
  • Excellent communicator and team leader influencing peers and employees effectively in order to achieve stated goals.
  • Performance driven and accountable to establish team and individual goals, monitor and report to senior management.
  • The ability to represent the Company both internally and externally in order to forward organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Skilled with interpreting business analytics as well as developing regular reporting for staff, peers and senior management
