The Integration Specialist performs outreach and provides support to partners for the onboarding and authentication of TeachingBooks. This role leads the integration of TeachingBooks into the technologies of each partner institution, while proactively assisting with authentication, technical support, and communications as necessary. This role also performs data collection and reporting to enable TeachingBooks outreach, sales, and implementation efforts.

Necessary Qualifications:
  • Forward-looking individual with a curiosity and professional interest in data and information.
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales.
  • Experience managing, accurately maintaining, and analyzing information with Excel.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with working independently and taking initiative.
  • Comfort collaborating with remote team members, and excitement to work in a dynamic and expanding organization.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

  • Experience in work that requires consistent attention to detail.
  • Experience working in or with schools or public libraries.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, MySQL.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outreach to partners using communication templates to integrate TeachingBooks into their existing technologies.
  • Communicate thoughtfully with technical and non-technical stakeholders via phone, email, and other methods.
  • Audit and process partner-supplied setup forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Execute the initial account setup to provide partners with access to TeachingBooks within the technologies they use.
  • Configure partner accounts with requested standard authentication methods.
  • Collect and maintain contact data for setup, support, and other outreach initiatives.
  • Use internal authentication utilities as required by business processes.
  • Troubleshoot access and authentication failures and respond to troubleshooting requests via email and phone to assist partner staff with technical issues and questions.
  • Document new or revised troubleshooting steps and responses for use by other team members or internal teams.
  • Work with other internal teams to improve existing workflows and/or implement new workflows.
  • Complete documentation and defined steps to smoothly transition the partner relationship to the Implementation and Training team.
  • Offer statistical and analytical support to the business development team as needed.
Necessary Skills:
  • Use spreadsheets and other software proficiently-consistently seeking ways to make your work more efficient.
  • Quickly learn new software and systems.
  • Reference and contribute to shared, online documents, including spreadsheets.
  • Communicate clearly via email and other online applications.
  • Communicate professionally and personably over the phone
  • Maintain concentration while completing detailed tasks.
  • Apply efficiency and organization in order to thrive independently.
Job Location:
This role will require you to be located in either Cleveland, OH or Madison, WI.
