Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Business Analyst who has experience supporting the technical and logical solutions for Integrity Data & Systems. In this role, you will ensure that all Asset Integrity data is captured, maintained and readily available for program owners and other stakeholders to facilitate accurate and timely decisions and ensure safety and compliance.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify patterns in service request tickets, enhancement request, and user feedback.
- Ensure front line support with end users, including training new users, training system enhancements, and training system upgrades.
- Contribute to the sustainment of the Asset Integrity Data Strategy and Optimization team by:
Understanding concepts related to the data capture, dashboards, and enhancement requests.
Understanding of the environment to ensure that all Asset Integrity data is maintained and readily available to facilitate accurate and timely decisions and ensure safety and compliance.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance, controls, and governance processes and KPI's specific to Asset Integrity data functions to ensure the highest degree of accuracy and performance focusing in Facility Integrity programs and systems
- Ensure Asset Integrity data processes leverages innovative and practical solutions needed by the program and asset owners to ensure safe and reliable operations while delivering a competitive advantage.
- Serve as a knowledgeable Asset Integrity liaison and for contextual understanding and a point of contact with Engineering and Asset Management Data teams in support of GTM Operations and Asset Integrity.
- Establish relationships and influence (working with the DSO) for data standards, business architecture/workflow, and upstream & downstream data impacts
- Maintain developed Facility Integrity data processes, understanding impacts, documenting details, and suggesting modifications based on gaps
- Establish working relationship with TIS (IT) to coordinate changes, system challenges, and understand technical dependencies (translate & influence effective change)
- Develop and implement plans for sustainable growth in Asset Integrity by understanding user feedback and needs.
- Occasional travel to key business office locations (Houston, TX and Calgary, Alberta), once per quarter
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Able to effectively contribute to the growth of emerging leaders within the team.
- Ability to interpret impact to the Company of diverse business and data issues.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills with well-developed written and verbal group presentation capabilities to a wide audience, including employees, all levels of management, industry associations and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to organize complex information and write concise documents and correspondence to various audiences.
- Consistent experience and willing to develop verbal and written skills in explaining complex issues and creating the story for understanding and discussion to both technical and non-technical audience.
- Highly motivated and energetic to pursue the development of strategic plans and creative thinking to make progress in a challenging, complex, and technical environment.
- Strong attention to details.
- Software: Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Infographic tools, and Microsoft Word
- Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.
- Prior to employment with Stantec, this position will require the successful passing of a drug & alcohol screen.
Preferred:
- Software: Experience with ServiceNow, Visions IDMS and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, VBA, Maximo, SQL, SharePoint, PowerAutomate, Power BI)
- Knowledge of the science, tools, and strategies used in pipeline andor facility integrity management.
Education and Experience
- Related university degree and four-plus years' experience OR six-plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
- The following are considered assets:
- University degree in Business, Management, or Information Systems or equivalent
