Intelligence Design Analyst
Job Description
CSA is seeking an Intelligence Design Analyst IV. The Intelligence Design Analyst manages and executes the following: design, development, control, and execution of practical exercises related to assessment, collection, research, and analysis of classified and open source information and information systems; analysis of training effectiveness to ensure support products and simulations accurately portray the operational environment and training objectives are met;
analysis and integration of intelligence data, plans, or systems; performance of one or more of the following or related activities:
1) Analyze, review, and integrate intelligence data from a variety of sources.
2) Operates intelligence systems and intelligence analysis systems.
3) Provides threat analysis and makes recommendations to support military training, doctrine development, and/or real-world conflict scenarios.
4) Designs, develops, engineers, and implements intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems 5) Analyzes intelligence practices, systems, programs, and proposals to make appropriate recommendations.
The position is contingent upon award.
How Your Role Will Make an Impact:
- Leads and manages a team of Intelligence Analysts.
- Performs and provides military intelligence exercise planning support.
- Designs Exercise Support Plans and Exercise Support Manning Documents.
- Analyzes, develops and synchronizes intelligence related story lines for the Joint Master Scenario Event List.
- Develops opposing forces order of battle, orders, and scripts.
- Analyzes and advises on intelligence simulation database builds.
- Participates and provides subject matter expertise for planning conferences.
- Develop assessment input for exercise design, planning, preparation, execution, and after-action review of the company through COCOM‐level exercises
- Perform Intelligence Observer/Trainer Controller duties
- Develop and execute intelligence portions of AAR products and take-away packages.
- Design, develop, rehearse, and execute intelligence warfighter function-related academics
- As required, be prepared to provide Response Cell Role Player support
- Document and update processes.
- Perform tasks under deadlines.
- Work with senior Government and Industry leaders.
- Prepared to work at a computer terminal for extended periods.
- Prepared to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, for consecutive days up to 3 weeks.
- As required, be prepared to support the move and setup/recovery of exercise equipment and furniture IAW approved room builds
- As required, be prepared to role-play U.S. Army, joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and/or multinational individuals.
- As required, be prepared to operate mission command and simulation systems.
- As required, be prepared to operate simulation systems in a response cell or similar activities.
What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance wit the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
- Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of recent training and exercise experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of recent training and exercise experience; OR 9 years of recent training and exercise experience
- Battalion S2 or higher intelligence planner or analyst assignment- raduate of CGSC or ILE (MEL 4) or equivalent military schooling
- 3 years of recent supervisory experience
- Experience in analyzing U.S. military or other U.S. government agency plans, data, intelligence information, and/or systems.
- Experience in developing intelligence estimates and making recommendations for correcting deficiencies.
- Experience integrating information from a variety of sources into various intelligence systems and ensuring proper systems interfaces.
- Prior experience in data collection and analysis. Ability to develop products resulting from analysis
- Knowledgeable of Intelligence Warfighter functions
- Knowledgeable on U.S. Army Doctrine
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
- Possess an outstanding work ethic and personal integrity.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess a high degree of attention to detail.
- Possess an outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.
What Sets You Apart:
- Knowledge and experience with Army constructive models and simulations
- Experience controlling medium to large unit training events and operations for MTC or similar organizations.
- Experience executing Mission Command training at battalion level or higher.
- Familiarity with Army Mission Command Systems/Platforms.
- Knowledge of planning and executing large training events and how to use the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) to support customer training requirements.
- Knowledgeable of Joint and NATO Doctrine
- Knowledgeable in Observer Controller/Trainer functions
- Ability to write Battalion and higher Operations Orders IAW Army doctrine
- Experience operating Microsoft Office products.
- IT systems and network experience desired.
Candidates based in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey (Jersey City), New York or Washington:The annual base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $100,000 Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. CSA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
