Summary
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Military Intelligence Readiness Command Army Reserve Operational Group, Intelligence Group, located in San Antonio, Texas.

Conditions of Employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Must execute a classified information Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- TDY may constitute up to 40% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS)/sensitive compartmented information (SCI) security clearance based on a Single-scope background investigation (SSBI).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which is defined as experience with Intelligence operations in areas of capability development and analysis that are specific to the Human Intelligence (HUMINT) operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GG-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
- All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.
- This position requires you to sign a classified information Non-Disclosure Agreement upon entry, and periodically thereafter.
- Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
