Interactive Developer
Job Description
We are looking for a new Employee Owner that is interested in website and web app configuration and development for various clients across various modern tech stacks. An Interactive Developer at Drake Cooper is expected to have strong skills in technology and be familiar with modern web scripting languages. They should be comfortable managing configuration and entering content into web applications.
We expect this individual to learn from the technology team and grow in their career. At Drake Cooper, we strive to adhere to the best web programming practices but recognize that every organization and client has unique needs and approaches. As such, we are looking for someone with a learner's mindset, open to growing in-and contributing to-our technology stack.
In this role, your primary job will be to build robust technology solutions that solve marketing, advertising, or business-related problems for our clients. Our typical platform is WordPress, backed by our class-based framework and ACF. A typical work day might include creating custom post types with complex relationships, custom content blocks, front-end interactivity built using React, all bundled by Webpack and deployed using automated CI tools. That said, we always strive to consider the right tech stack for the challenge, so you may also find yourself building a static microsite with Next.js or a custom API integration in PHP.
This could be a junior or mid-level role depending on experience. If you have a passion for code and a learner's mindset we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet every qualification listed below.
