Intercompany Accountant

Summary:
An Accountant, Intercompany is responsible for intercompany accounting activities of a healthcare organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements related to intercompany transactions.
- General ledger management: Recording intercompany financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the records.
- Account reconciliation: Reconciling intercompany accounts and resolving any discrepancies between records and transactions.
- Budget management: Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring that expenses are in line with budgetary guidelines.
- Compliance: Ensuring that all financial records and transactions are in compliance with accounting principles and regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations.
- Communication and collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as accounting, finance, and operations, to ensure that financial records and transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited university
Required Experience: Three (3) or more years of experience in Accounting/Finance setting and general accounting knowledge.
Preferred Experience: Experience in intercompany accounting.
Preferred License/Registration/Certification: Six Sigma
Computer Skills Required: Google Suite preferred; willingness to learn Oracle and leverage the training, reporting, and process components to excel at role
