Intermediate Account Manager

As an Intermediate Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, driving growth through cross-sell and upsell opportunities, generating referrals, and acting as a champion for our company’s values and services. Your expertise and proactive approach will be critical in enhancing client satisfaction and achieving our business objectives.Â
*This is a hybrid position working 2x per week in either our Irvine, CA or Phoenix, AZ offices.
Job Duties:Â

Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns effectively.Â

Adoption & Retention: Identify opportunities for customers to expand their product utilization and assist customers with adoption of unused or new features. Identify risks within your customer portfolio, and implement risk mitigation strategies.Â

Cross-Sell/Upsell: Identify and pursue opportunities within existing accounts for additional products or services. Utilize selling techniques to drive revenue growth.Â

Referrals: Leverage successful client relationships to secure referrals and expand our client base. Develop strategies to generate positive word-of-mouth and client recommendations.Â

Client Advocacy: Act as a dedicated advocate for our clients while aligning with our company’s goals and values. Ensure clients’ voices are heard and their needs are met through effective communication and collaboration.Â

Problem Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any issues or challenges faced by clients. Work closely with internal teams to implement solutions and prevent future problems.Â

Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, assess account health, and inform strategic decisions.Â

Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and product development teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and contribute to overall business success.Â
Skills and Qualifications:Â

2-4 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record in managing client relationships and driving revenue growth.Â

Act independently with little to zero supervisionÂ

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Â

Proficient in identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities and employing effective sales techniques to achieve targets.Â

Experience with CRM software and other relevant tools to manage accounts and track performance. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems.Â

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.Â
