Position Overview:At Finning Digital, we are building next generation data platform and digital solutions for our customers and internal stakeholders. For our customer base in Canada, South America, the UK and Ireland, we are building highly data-dependent services like https://cubiq.com and our Condition Monitoring platforms. We use the latest big data processing strategies, cloud technologies and architecture patterns. We work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Reporting to the Solution Architect and Application Lead, the incumbent of this position is a driven and committed career professional with proven leadership and record of accomplishment. Acting as a Scrum Master in a Scaled Agile Framework, the incumbent is a leader and a coach who facilitates the execution and continuous improvement at the delivery level.
The work location for this role can be in any of our Finning operating regions in Western Canada {BC or AB or SK}.

· For this position, the expected salary range is between $85,000 and $100,000 annually. This range reflects our commitment to providing competitive compensation that aligns with industry standards and your qualifications.

Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Advise, coach, and lead Agile teams on Agile values, practices, and processes and ensure that the Agile team is fully functional, productive, and focused on the sprint goals.
- Help the team create value and products with quality. Clears the runway so that the team can meet the quarterly objectives.
- Proactively support the Product Owner to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
- Gather metrics relating to the team's performance and present them in a meaningful manner to the team and director-level stakeholders to help improve productivity in future sprints.
- Work with the team to create/deploy tools to measure success and recognize progress
- Recognize areas of strength and improvement by employing appropriate coaching and development techniques for team members
- Foster a continuous learning environment helping teams to inspect and adapt.
- Recognize opportunities for automation and other tools & processes so that the team can deliver more effectively
- Participate and collaborates in cross functional planning sessions to raise milestones, issues, dependencies, etc.
- Identify dependencies with other teams and determines how to manage those dependencies without impacting the progress of the team
- Facilitate events – Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, and Iteration Retrospective
- Build a high-performing team – Focus on ever-improving team dynamics and performance, and coach the team in self-management. Help the team resolve interpersonal conflicts and challenges and identify opportunities for growth.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with Agile and Scrum
- Hands on experience and functional understanding of Agile software development lifecycle.
- Analytical skills to break down complex business topics into a consumable form to make roadmaps and plans.
- Team leadership experience in assessing and driving necessary actions to improve results
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a multi-faceted and global organization and work in a fast paced and changing environment on multiple tasks simultaneously.
The following qualifications will be considered as asset
- Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSM) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) or equivalent formal education in Agile
- Specific experience in Agile methodologies such as SAFe
- Experience in software delivery or development
