Intermodal Operations Specialist
What the Job Entails:

• Monitor and drive improvement to customer service goals including on-time delivery, product lead-times, and request-for-quote responsiveness
• Manages order entry, load planning, load scheduling, and load monitoring
• Identify logistics issues and implement appropriate resolutions
• Negotiate rates with the drayage carriers and other transportation providers
• Responsible to track and trace containers
• Build relationships with carriers and customers
• What We Are Looking For:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
• Strong operational knowledge and analytical skills in the intermodal/drayage field preferred
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and applications (or other applications)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Above average multi-tasking skills.
• Written and verbal fluency in English
• Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible
• Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun!

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday.
Traffic Tech has implemented preventative measures and safety precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all persons entering Traffic Tech facilities. For example, upon arrival masks are mandatory, employees are greeted by our in-house full-time health screeners, social distancing is maintained in all common areas (6ft/2m), hand sanitizer stations are strategically spaced out around the office, there is a restricted flow of traffic within the office to avoid interdepartmental spreads or outbreaks, and increased cleaning of all office spaces and warehouses.
