GHD is looking for students to join us for Summer of 2023 as Environmental Interns, based from our Houston, TX office.

In this role, you will work closely with and in support of project managers, professional engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, and skilled technicians/technologists to coordinate and implement a wide variety of environmental engineering solutions and project goals (i.e. air quality, solid waste, remediation, health & safety, etc.)

In this role, you will be involved in:

• Report writing
• Data management
• Field equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

• Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology/Hydrogeology or related field
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is a plus, but not required
• Must be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong sense of motivation and a thirst for knowledge
• Takes the initiative to identify ways to assist staff and be ready to help with any task big or small
• Enjoys building relationships with all people they meet
