Intern

The IT intern will serve as part-time support to the Corporate Headquarters IT team. This opportunity is for someone who has an interest in entering the IT field and is currently working on a secondary degree in a related area. An IT intern at Altium can expect to acquire practical experience with relevant tools and techniques used in the industry.

• The opportunity to work with various IT systems and technologies, including software development tools, network infrastructure, and data management systems
• Assist with day-to-day IT tasks at the Altium Headquarters
• Act as an additional level of support to the IT Support Specialists and System Administrators
• Developing and integrating a novel AI chat bot (Anything LLM - GPT 3.5) with the company intranet to interactively answers user queries based on the documentation available
• Working as a Technology Analyst to develop dashboards using Salesforce Analytics to visualize Campaign Progress and the success rate to drive sales efforts
• Working as a Business Development Associate with Altium Education to expand business across Top colleges in India. Helped convert over 10 colleges to procure and integrate Altium Designer with current curriculum.

• A strong skill in problem-solving
• Previous exposure to teamwork and collaboration
• Basic understanding of industry trends and practices
• Currently pursuing a secondary degree in a related field
• Ability to work in the La Jolla, CA Headquarters office 5 days a week

The salary range for this role is $24.00- $25.00 per hour. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
