What Your Job Will Be Like
The Organizational Culture and Engagement Office is seeking an undergraduate student intern for year-round employment. The intern will assist with, and in some cases lead, multiple activities to ensure successful project/program completion.
On any given day, responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Performing assignments that support the Organizational Culture & Engagement Office,
- Assisting with website updates and electronic file management,
- Researching or collecting information to develop presentation materials or various types of communications,
- Carrying out various activities to include data entry, presentations, research, and project management, and
- Assisting with meeting logistics and facilitation.
Posting Duration
This posting will be open for application submissions for a minimum of seven (7) calendar days, including the 'posting date'. Sandia reserves the right to extend the posting date at any time.
Qualifications We Require
You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:
- Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
- U.S. citizenship
Qualifications We Desire
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint
- Prior business work experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in developing and giving presentations
- Experience in analyzing survey data
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Experience with Wordpress
- Experience with Confluence
- Experience with Kanban boards
- Experience with project management concepts and tools
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and across organizational boundaries

Security Clearance
Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
