About The Team:
The Enterprise Identity Services team works cross-functionally with different Identity domain areas namely Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-factor authentication (MFA) and Directory services to drive progress towards goals.
As an Identity Engineer you will be part of a team designing and developing various Identity solutions for initiatives like Employee Experience and Security using a combination of IAM platforms and cloud native software development.
About The Role:
As a Backend Software Engineer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to execute on a strategic initiative to improve Employee experiences, with better access and improved functionality to our core back-office services. As part of this initiative, we are investing in development efforts specifically focused on making it easier for Autodeskers to access key resources through a modern identity management framework.

About the US Intern Program
The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 - August 11 or June 12 - September 1). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March. About The Role:

Your day-to-day will involve:
- Develop and implement Identity solutions to successfully deliver on critical projects and initiatives using SailPoint Identity Management product and Microsoft Azure
- Dive deep into complex challenges in large scale computing by utilizing your skills in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming to deliver new services providing user identity and analytics
- Work with cross functional teams to integrate new services with other platform web services providing user identity and analytics
- Optimize and support our existing public cloud solutions (AWS) and workloads
About You:
- Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2024
- Ability to navigate ambiguous or undefined problems while thinking abstractly and guiding others
- Familiarity with performing requirement analysis and interfacing with stakeholders of various levels / documenting solutions
- Past experience articulating technical topics to non-technical audiences both in writing, diagrams, and in person
- Energetic team player who works well across boundaries and readily adapts to change and enjoys rapid development
Bonus Points:
- Experience deciding when to use common software design and architectural patterns, including server-less design within public cloud (AWS/Azure)
- Hands-on experience with most of the following: Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, Node.js, shell scripting (Windows/Unix), Micro-services and RESTful web services
- Experience with Agile methodology or Scrum framework.
