Job Description

Our internship program is a full-time, paid, 10-week program during the Summer of 2024. Applicants should be based in the Chicago area for the duration of the program to participate in our hybrid work environment at our Chicago headquarters. Applicants should also currently be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a graduation date in Winter 2024 or Spring 2025.  

What to expect during your internship: 

  • Onboarding Training: Our weeklong onboarding training will share all the information you need to be successful during your internship. You will learn about our mission, our history, our products & services, and our people! 
  • Meaningful projects: You’ll receive a challenging project to complete during your internship. The project will give you a running start into the exciting world of healthcare technology with the possibility to expand into a full-time career. You will also present your work to our CEO and leadership team at the end of your internship! 
  • Networking: You will have many opportunities to network with all areas of company. Whether it is through one-on-one coffee chats or lunch & learns, you will meet many people during your time with us. 
  • Culture: Throughout the summer, we host a variety of social and volunteering activities to truly experience our amazing culture. 

How you’ll make an impact during your internship: 

  • Work with a top-notch team of consultants and project managers across all Strata client service practices; Data Integration, Advanced Planning, Decision Support, Project Management, and Client Training 
  • Gain exposure and experience in an Agile setting 
  • Assist in preparing best practice client-facing tools and templates 
  • Utilize financial, business, and organization models to develop more efficient, higher quality operations processes 
  • Communicate complex analyses and improvement recommendations to colleagues 
  • Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the implementation of new processes and procedures across the Client Services team 
  • Collect, compile, and present various data metric sets to the operations team 
  • Own the execution and maintenance of tasks on a daily and weekly basis  

What we’re looking for: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with graduation date in Winter 2025 or Spring 2025, in Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Informatics, Finance, Business or related field 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Self-starter who possesses the ability to work effectively with limited guidance when necessary 
  • Interest in pursuing a career in consulting, software, or operations management 

How we work:
The preferred location for this role is in Chicago, IL or St. Louis, MO. We value our people spending time together and have campuses hosting in-person events located in both cities.
