Are you interested in an Intern opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in a 12-week paid intern opportunity at our site in Nashville, TN. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

In this role, you have the opportunity to
Assist in designing, developing, and delivering effective and innovative communication copy and materials, including new modes of electronic communication as well as how-to docs, short videos, and live/virtual education sessions. You will help grow Philips through communication, change management, creating and branding.
You are responsible for
- Works closely with the Change and Communications lead and subject matter experts to plan communication methods and materials
- Proofreads communications materials for consistency, adherence to style/messaging guide, and factual accuracy
- Coordination and management of communication calendar for hub in alignment to Global and North American communication calendars
- Respond timely to messages inbounded to functional inbox from Hub employees
- Ensures compliance with brand and legal protocol for all communications
- Supports maintenance of database contacts
- Support planning and execution of Town Hall / All Employee events
- Participate in the NA Change Network as a change agent supporting Nashville transformational initiatives
- Execute communications for internal engagement events
- Determine appropriate project tasks and deliverables for the department, programs and consults on creative ways to incorporate varying messages in standard means of delivery.
- Project manage key events for hub, including Town Halls, internal and external engagements
- Assist with safety notifications and announcements via Philips Internal Notification System.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Enrolled in an accredited college in business or communication-related field of study
- Intermediate to advanced level competency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Outstanding demonstrated written and interpersonal communication skill set - must exercise extensive grammar and usage knowledge to communicate simply and concisely in written form.
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent time management skills and carry high degree of competence in completing duties in a timely and effective manner with a strong attention to detail, even when managing a variety of projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Highly effective in meeting management
- Preferred Skills in Adobe, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Video Editor, and MAPP Digital Software.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
