Autodesk is seeking a Content Design Intern to join our Product Design & Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) team to work on Fusion 360, our innovative, cloud-based platform for product design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM). The Fusion platform helps companies solve important workflow challenges and reimagine new possibilities based on our 3D modeling, visualization, and data insight software.
You'll join an experienced team of content designers and experience designers to create in-product messaging and supporting content, which expertly guides our customers and helps them gain confidence to continually expand their use of Fusion 360.
Our team has a strong culture of collaboration, mentorship, practice excellence, and individual attention to accelerate your career growth and impact. Success in this role requires a love for writing and problem solving with an ability to incorporate feedback from stakeholders and customer research to develop holistic content designs. We're looking for an intern with curiosity, empathy, and optimism with a knack for conveying complex subject matter clearly and concisely to help us craft an engaging platform experience through content. About the US Intern Program
The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 - August 11 or June 12 - September 1) and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March. Our Internships align with Autodesk's Flexible Workplace approach, which is designed to meet the needs of our business while providing flexibility in support of office, remote and hybrid work preferences.

Responsibilities
- Capture project requirements and other information necessary to estimate content efforts.
- Participate in product teams to understand customer requirements and contribute to the design of features with a focus on learnability.
- Create user-interface text and in-product messaging that improves the customer experience.
- Deliver high-quality learning content, which supports new product features and workflows, within agreed timescales.
- Produce content that meets Autodesk's content design standards for style, tone and voice.
- Seek feedback and contribute constructively to content/design critiques.
- Use customer insights from analytics and other customer interactions to help inform content decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in technical communication, linguistics, communication studies, journalism, product design, human computer interaction, or engineering.
- Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.
- Interest in researching and understanding complex technologies, and presenting it to others in a clear, approachable manner.
- Ability to work independently and in a distributed team environment.
- Eager to learn, explore, and gain new experiences.
