Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel and Power BI or other analytical tools to create impactful data visualizations
• Demonstrate capacity to take ownership of tasks, ensuring their completion
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams
• Quick learner with a track record of mastering new concepts
• Strong communication skills, self-reliance, and ability to work independently
• Acquire and apply understanding of accounting principles and internal controls during the internship
• Gain insight into real-world collaboration across various departments in a matrixed environment
• Participate in interviews with process owners, aid in documenting risk control matrix and process flows, and prepare materials for Finance Leadership reviews

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum junior standing towards a degree in Accounting or Finance with a minor or certification in data science & data visualization, or related fields of study from an accredited college or university
• Proficient in MS Excel and Power BI or other analytical tools
• Must be able to work from our Oakbrook, IL office (15 miles west of Chicago) 3 days a week
