Job Description
Q2 is looking for talented individuals with exceptional technical curiosity and is enthusiastic about solving problems.
The Summer Internship Program is 12-weeks long (May 22nd - August 11th) and all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40 hours. You’ll receive real world career experience in a professional setting focused on digital banking software and technology. In addition to your daily work, you will be given the opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with Sr. Leadership, activities with other Q2 interns and the opportunity to present to the Executive Leadership team at the end of the program. Upon completion of the internship program, interns have the opportunity to receive a full-time position after graduation.
This position will be an in-office or hybrid role. Due to this being an in-office or hybrid role, it is preferred the intern is located in Austin or surrounding areas.
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will get experience working with a product-focused Data Science team and integrating with our systems and processes – this will involve learning, or honing, some software engineering skills. You will also learn about the challenges, and effective approaches, to building analysis and reporting at scale.
Responsibilities:
· Data analysis
· Building automated reporting and visualizations/dashboards
· Support machine learning operations by helping establish reliable monitoring and maintenance processes for our models and pipelines
Requirements:
· Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with an expected graduation between May 2023 and May 2024.
· Motivated self-learner with the passion and follow through to acquire new skills
· Good written and verbal communication
· Ability to operate independently and proactively with minimal up-front instruction and take ownership of work product; driven, diligent, and self-motivated
· Data analysis experience in Python
· Preferred: familiarity with software engineering tools and practices, including version control with git.
