Job Description

Summary

Using Python and PowerShell, contribute equally on a global Scrum Team to design, develop, test, and deliver automated solutions for Rockwell's current-generation and next-generation industrial control Firmware and Software applications by the end of your Intern term.

Identify areas of Rockwell's Intelligent Devices automated build and deployment system that needs improvement, implement the code change, and demo new version of the build/deploy system to relevant stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Characteristics and Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Existing experience with Python, Power Shell, Networking and firewalls, Server management, virtual machines, packaging chocolatey installers, image management
• Interest in to build and maintain production-minded automation systems.
• Desire to work on a self-organized Scrum Team.
