BE SOMETHING GREAT AS AN E&S ACTUARIAL INTERN

The E&S/Specialty Actuarial Pricing teams work with all areas of Nationwide's E&S/S and Management Liability & Specialty business. We support Underwriting by providing profitability analyses, rate recommendations, impact calculations and rate filing support. We work closely with our business partners, so strong social and communication skills are vital to our success.

Interns will make meaningful contributions to the team by working on actual pricing tasks including rate reviews, impact calculations, and meetings with business partners. Interns will also be provided with educational sessions, exposure to all aspects of E&S/Specialty and/or MLS actuarial work, and networking and team-building opportunities.

Skills/Qualifications Desired:

• Excellent academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA)

• Require 1 actuarial exam passed

• Prefer some actuarial coursework

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
