ABOUT THE INTERNSHIPÂ
Applicants will be considered for internships with various engineering departments across the organization. In the past, our engineering interns have joined teams such as:Â

OPERATIONS ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING: You will focus on high-level projects affecting the Transmission, Substation and Collection systems â ranging from 34.5kV to 345kV. A primary focus of the role is troubleshooting high voltage electrical faults, as well as developing programs and maintenance practices to prevent unnecessary site downtime. Â

RENEWABLE PROJECT ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING: Oversees the technical design, evaluation and construction of commercial and utility-scale wind, solar, thermal, and storage projects.Â

TRANSMISSION AND COMMERCIAL ANALYTICS: Manages all interconnection and transmission aspects of generation projects. Assesses and communicates information about the energy markets using quantitative models, independent market studies, market risk analysis and forecasts.Â

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSÂ Â

Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelorâs degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and Summer 2026.Â

Majoring in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems EngineeringÂ
-
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSÂ

A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.Â

Demonstrated interest in the renewable energy or clean energy sector.Â
