Security Clearance
Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. - Work on teams that focus on the development and innovation of software solutions.
- Assist staff developers who specializing in an array of technology stacks.
- Perform updates to applications, provide customer support, manage and integrate data, create reports and/or visualizations (various COTS, including SSRS, Tableau, PowerBi, Oracle, SQL Server, SharePoint, etc.), and conduct analysis/reporting of various types of data.
- Participate in team environments via structured development lifecycles.

Qualifications We Require
You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:
- Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
- U.S. citizenship
Qualifications We Desire
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other relevant STEM disciplines
- Some working knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript), scripting languages (SQL, Linq, Oracle), data management, reporting development (SQL Server Reporting Server, Tableau, PowerBI), and/or web application development (HTML, .NET Core or other).
- Knowledge and experience in software development methodologies and techniques
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with good work ethic
- Experience with software testing, experience writing requirements, testing, and qualification plans
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L clearance
