Are you interested in an Intern opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in a 12 week paid intern opportunity at our site in Nashville, TN. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a HealthTech company.
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Be part of the HR Philips team to support the North American Philips employees. In this role, you will be a part of the Philips People Services (PPS) organization, collaborating with PPS team members and other stakeholders in the business to ensure a successful, smooth and compliant transition for all employees.
You are responsible for
- Working within the Workday HR system
- Analyzing documents and data; determining appropriate action to take
- Monitoring pending action items
- Maintain targeted deadlines
- Outreach to Philips employees
- Partnering closely with the PPS managers in Nashville hub
- Work with cross-functional team members in PPS to resolve issues and improve efficiency
- Utilize excel, PPT, or word in daily tasks
- Assist with function or team level initiatives
You are a part of
The Philips People Services organization, reporting to the North America People Services Leader in our Philips Global Business Services (GBS) North America hub (Nashville, TN). This position will be a part of the People Services/Global Business Services organization responsible for leading operational execution, reducing complexity and increasing efficiencies as the in-house team that continuously improves performance to better support our customers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Enrolled in an accredited university pursing a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Intermediate to advanced level competency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Strong verbal and written writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of data integrity
- Ability to deliver high quality customer service in a professional and efficient manner
- Excellent time management skills and carry high degree of competence in completing duties in a timely and effective manner with a strong attention to detail, even when managing a variety of projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Process oriented, strong quality focus
- Able to work in a changing environment to meet demanding deadlines and timescales
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative, a self-starter
- Minimum 3.0 GPA

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 to $23.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you will reside in or within commuting distance to Nashville, TN.
