Intern, Graphic Design

Work alongside our creative team to produce outstanding design material. Projects may include graphics, layout, illustration, iconography, web design, photography, videography, and more. As a graphic design intern at LI-COR, you'll gain valuable experience working with an established brand, learning new skills, and creating designs that meet client goals.

Professional Qualifications

Education

Undergraduate student currently working toward a bachelor's or associate's degree in graphic design or related field.

General

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom. Experience in Premier and Audition is an added bonus.
• A desire to learn typography, layout, photography, coding, and illustration as the job requires. Experience in these categories is a plus.
• Willing to take personal responsibility for tasks with a "get it done" mentality.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Must be receptive to and willing to offer constructive criticism to yield the best results.
• High ethics, integrity, honesty, and patience.
• Dependable, positive attitude and good attendance.
• Possess clear and effective written and oral communications skills and interpersonal skills.

• Assist with graphic design and illustration projects for print and web as assigned.
• Assist with front-end web development (HTML, Bootstrap, and CSS) as assigned.
• Assist with photo shoots and video production as assigned.
• Assist with strategic brainstorming and ideation.
