Intern, Identity and Access Management

The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team's success, learn about JM Family's companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full time hours during the Summer Internship Program (June 3, 2024 - August 9, 2024).

This internship will include projects and tasks that relate to Identity and Access Management and to protect JM Family's information assets while maintaining security and adherence to least privileged safeguards.

Responsibilities:

• Interacting and following up with the Identity and Access Managementteam
• Assisting with support for enhancements and lifecycle events to satisfy internal and external customers' demands
• Support the monitoring of IAM services and operations to resolve functional, systematic and infrastructure issues
• Assist in the planning and solutioning for problem resolution according to standardized processes
• Suggest new ideas for improving identity and access activities
• Participate in the creation, review and update of IAM policies, standards, procedures and runbooks/work instructions
• Assist with the onboarding of new technologies and capabilities as required.
• Assist with other tasks & projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• This is a full-time, hybrid or remote position.
• Ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in a bachelor or graduate degree seeking program at an accredited college or university with a focus in Information Security or Information Technology (qualified candidates actively enrolled for a degree in a related field will also be considered) and must have completed at least one semester of classes.
• Relevant completed coursework including Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Identity and Access Management, Authentication, Cloud Security or similar.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Team player
• Quick learner
• Desire or interest to work operational issues, participate in projects and conduct presentations
