Job Description

The Innovation Platform Developer Intern will assist in the development of the company's Innovation vision and strategy as applied to the internal web platform. As part of a new organization, this person will work in a small-scale scrum/agile environment with the freedom to design and implement full features for a newly adopted website using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

Essential Functions:

• Designs, implements, and tests features based off user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Uses Git to manage code and feature delivery.
• Constantly evaluates the UX and finds ways to improve.
• Debugs and resolves issues that arise in HTML, JavaScript, or MongoDB database.
• Reaches out to users to detail and resolve incoming bugs and feature requests.

Basic Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelors or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or related.
• Minimum cumulative GPA 2.75.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• College sophomore level or above.
• Previous internship experience.
• Experience developing websites from scratch.
• Knows HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with Angular and Material Design.
• Database experience, specifically MongoDB.
• Knowledge of how to use Git.
• Self-starter, comfortable with uncertainty, and able to navigate complex situations with competing priorities.
