Intern: Integrated Supply Chain Strategy - The Toro Company

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

• Extract and analyze ERP or business system data using tools such as SAP, Excel, and Power BI.
• Use material or transactional data such as bills of materials, labor/machine hours by product, and annual usage to describe the operating capacity of an existing or proposed supply chain.
• Collaborate with a wide range of business functions including but not limited to Sourcing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure all stakeholder perspectives are represented in analysis.
• Use financial analysis to develop and test recommendations as compared to the current state.
• Partner with subject matter experts to determine investment cost and operating cost of existing supply chains and/or recommended supply chains.
• Summarize and present complex data to leadership in an understandable format.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Adaptable and flexible - able handle ambiguity and manage priorities that may change.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability - takes ownership and demonstrates initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ERP experience is a plus.
• This role will be primarily office based but may visit manufacturing sites or supplier locations if required.
