How you'll make a difference:

Project Iceman - Support the BI Team in migrating and/or building our corporate data warehouse reporting on a new cloud database.

Your key responsibilities:

• Transition Cognos based reports (direct SQLs etc.,) to new DB objects
• Create repository of Cognos reports and database objects used (views, stored procedures).
• Create operational dashboards in Apex
• Create and updating reports in Cognos 11
• Create and updating dashboards in Salesforce Einstein Analytics
• Execute test plans to verify that reports work correctly
• Work with business teams to confirm that the delivered report or dashboard fulfills the business requirement
• Write specifications for new reports or modifications to existing reports

Who you are:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Enrollment in Bachelor's or Master's degree program
• Junior or Senior level standing, or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Completed coursework in Database Design, Data Modeling, Data Management Systems, Business Process Analysis, ERP Systems, and Business Analytics
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Detail Oriented
• Great Communication Skills
• Prior experience working with BI tools - preferred
• Prior experience working with cloud databases - preferred
• Be a self-described and demonstrated data geek - preferred
• Passionate about data or BI - preferred

The anticipated base hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
