IT SECURITY INTERNSHIP
FARMERS MUTUAL HAIL INSRUANCE COMPANY OF IOWA
Looking for an internship to increase your technical support and information security skills? Farmers Mutual Hail (located in West Des Moines) is currently looking for a qualified undergraduate to intern for our 2023 summer internship program. This is a paid internship starting Monday, May 22 through Friday, August 11, working up to 40 hours per week for the summer. This is not a remote internship. We are looking for currently enrolled college students who are close to the West Des Moines area.

- Provides user support and customer service on organization supported hardware and software security platforms.
- Performs security tool administration
- Investigate and assess company's current implementation of IT regulations
- Assists with vulnerability assessments and remediation
- Responds to and assists in remediation of security events
- Creates, updates, and maintains security procedures and documentation.
- Accomplishes other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled as a junior or senior at an undergraduate college or university, or in a 2 Year/ Technical School, majoring in Computer Science, Cyber Security or MIS or related degree preferred; or a Math major who has taken technical college-level courses.
- Exposure to PC, server, network, and cybersecurity technologies
Work Environment:
