Job Description
Interning within the People Learning and Development team in Summer 2023, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the culture of a leading real estate disruptor that is expanding across the country and scaling quickly. This role will focus on projects that unlock the development of employees and managers company-wide. You will gain experience in learning management system (LMS) design, instructional design for virtual adult learning, and learning program management. The Learning and Development team plays a role in the formation of our corporate support model and this role will contribute in the execution of its launch.
Internship Goals:- Gain an understanding of Learning and Development team operations, success measures, and training development best practices.
- Build experience in the People Team space through leading projects, with cross functional collaboration.
- Project lead for the launch of our new support model
- Engage with business department leaders and technical trainers to assess learning requests
- Design framework and process for matching learning requests to resources and toolkits
- Learn instructional design best practices across many virtual formats and gain exposure to multiple e-learning development tools
- Develop training content for a company-wide management development program
- Design and implement marketing strategies for internal training events
- Shadow event facilitation and production and participate in live training
- Collaborate with the HR team to drive department level engagement with learning programs
- Partner with Learning Program Managers to reorganize and streamline our learning management system to optimize learner utilization
- Given the virtual nature of the team the role allows for you to be empowered and work autonomously, and at the same time work as a team
- First year MBA student with a concentration in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or related field
- Able to handle confidential information
- Advanced G-suite capabilities
- Highly motivated and takes initiative
- Has strong time and project management skills and meets deadlines, able to prioritize tasks
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work in an empowered autonomous way and to establish relationships virtually
- Team-oriented and has excellent relationship-building skills
- Able to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with graphic design
Remote roles in the US are available in all states EXCEPT Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, or any US Territories.Â
Compensation:The hourly rate for this position in Colorado, Connecticut, Washington, and New Jersey is $23 - $35/hour, and in California and New York City is $26 - $35/hour. Hourly rate may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.Â
