Position: Engineering Intern

Job Description

Lattice is seeking interns to join our high performing team in Hillsboro, Oregon. As part of Lattice's R&D, Applications or Operations engineering teams you will work with senior technical staff on projects to support global research and development, high profile customer solutions, or advanced manufacturing test systems. Intern assignments will provide broad exposure to Lattice's unique and world-leading programmable products and an array of advanced software and hardware tools. Interns will experience life in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging and exciting high tech company.

Applications are welcome from all qualified candidates. In order to qualify, applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree program (Undergraduate or Graduate) and be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Accountabilities

  • Work with senior engineers on complex programmable silicon solutions.
  • Develop, debug and implement software and hardware test solutions for programmable products.
  • Develop FPGA patterns for product debug using Lattice software tools.
  • Analyze data, document and present results to engineering teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum two years completion of an undergraduate bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, GPA ≥ 3.5.
  • Strong interest in pursuing an engineering career with a fast-paced high technology company.
  • Proficiency in software programming and debug, including Perl, Python and C++.
  • Strong understanding of electronic fundamentals.
  • Experience in Verilog/VHDL and FPGA programming.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
