Job Description

Rockwell Automation is the largest company in the world dedicated to industrial automation and information. Here, we connect the imaginations of people with the potential of technology to make the world more intelligent, more connected and more productive. The Lifecycle Services organization is focused on delivering critical business outcomes to Rockwell Automation customers, combining deep industry expertise with comprehensive capabilities and best in class technologies. We bring the intelligence - of our people, processes and technology - to enable game-changing insights to our customers. We know how to unite production automation and information technology to transform how our customers make products, better than anyone.

We truly believe we are doing things never before possible. And we need the brightest minds to help make that happen - the makers, the forward thinkers, the problem solvers. That's where you come in.

While on program, each intern is assigned a dedicated mentor to help navigate the structure of Rockwell Automation, remove daily blockers, and provide career guidance. Additionally, there will be hosted activities and events intended to help you grow your professional network and skills, all while immersing yourself within our company culture. During your first internship, there will be dedicated time to receive hands on technology training and overviews on Rockwell Automation's core products.

Within the Technical Intern Program, you will have the opportunity to build professional and technical skills in many of the below areas:

  • Core Rockwell Automation products, software, and services
  • Technical troubleshooting & Analysis
  • Innovative thinking
  • Customer engagement & interaction
  • Professional networking, presentations, and communications

  • Broad understanding of Rockwell Automation's Lifecycle Services organization, leadership structure, and future career path opportunities

Potential Internship rotations/opportunities include:

  • Field & Remote Support Engineering
  • Project & Application Engineering

  • Network and Security Engineering
  • Project Management

After the completion of the Technical Intern Program, some potential full-time roles may include:

  • Network Services Consultant
  • Project/Application Engineer
  • Support Engineer
  • Early Career Rotational Program Associate

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or Information Technology from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future

Preferred Qualification:
