Looking for an internship to increase your knowledge and skillset in marketing and communications, working in a busy Marketing department? Farmers Mutual Hail (FMH) is currently looking for an enthusiastic college student to intern in this role, supporting the Marketing Communications team for our 2023 summer internship program. This is a paid internship starting Monday, May 22 through Friday, August 11, working up to 40 hours per week for the summer, with the potential to turn into a full-time, permanent position in the future. This is not a remote internship. We are looking for currently enrolled college students who are close to the West Des Moines area.

Internship objectives:

• Prepare event communications and materials
• Conduct marketing data analysis projects
• Create/send company-wide communications

Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled as a junior or senior at an undergraduate college or university, majoring in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field is preferred. (May 2023 graduates will not be eligible.)
• Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Social Media platforms is desirable.
